Barbara Norvell Au.D., CCC-A, received her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University, a part of the Arizona Health Sciences Center 2009, her Master degree in Audiology from Bowling Green University in Bowling Green, Ohio in 1984, and her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in 1983. After completing her degree, she taught two undergraduate courses in Speech Communication at Bowling Green University. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association, and holds a certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology. Prior to opening her practices in Boerne and Fredericksburg, she worked for a group of Neurotologists in San Antonio. She has served patients from pediatric to geriatric. She was a member of an interdisciplinary team as a part of an early diagnostic and intervention program. As an Audiologist she is committed to a patient centered approach which is devoted to patient satisfaction.

Ron Norvell is the co-owner and behind the scenes head of administration. He is also the National Vice President of Sales Development for Aviva USA. He holds a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Arizona, and did his graduate studies in finance at Rice University.

Amy Lindsay, M.S., F-AAA, has practiced in the field of Audiology for over 12 years.  She received her Master of Science degree from California State University at Northridge and her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with high honors. Prior to joining Hill Country Hearing in 2010, she has worked with ENT and Otologists in the Dallas Ft. Worth area as well as in the Boerne area.  This experience has enabled her to have extensive knowledge in pathologies of the ear in addition to the treatment of these pathologies.  She strives to enhance each of her patient’s quality of life and treats them as part of her extended family.

Mrs. Lindsay is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology as well as the Texas Academy of Audiology.  She was raised in nearby Fredericksburg, Texas where her relatives were some of the original settlers of the town.  She moved back home in 2004 with her husband and two small children to raise them with the same small town values in which she was raised.  She is very active in the St. Mary’s School and church community. 

Cathi Pierce will be a familiar face to many of you.  She has lived in Boerne, Texas for 27 years.  Before coming to Hill Country Hearing, Cathi had 27 years experience working in the legal, title, and insurance industries.  Cathi excels as an administrator and manages your patient experience with kindness and efficiency.  She is the proud mother of a Texas A&M Aggie, class of 2012.
